Hi!
I am happy to post that not only did I finish my cute little Sea Captain, but I framed him as well! Here he is all finished!
I am so happy with the way he came out! The stars are a little too pale though...
Now with the frame:
My mom found this old round frame she had, and I think it looks perfect! I was so excited to frame him that I forgot to put in a felt cushioned layer between the fabric and the cardboard I used for the backing. Maybe I will redo it at a later time...
Some close-ups:
I hope you guys like him! Here is the link to the shop on Etsy again if anyone would like to stitch him, too. You can always email me (saphirecat73@hotmail.com) if you would like to stitch him with the same colors I used!
Thank you again for all the amazing support from my followers!
Big Hugs,
Annie ^_^

Sea Captain WIP
Hi everyone!
I want to start off by saying "Thank You!" to all the lovely people who left such sweet and thoughtful comments on my last post about the Sea Captain! I feel like the cross stitching community is exceptionally kind and supportive, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it! <3
I have been continuing my embroidery stitching with the "Sea Captain". Like I said in my last post, I wanted to make his hat red. So I ordered what I thought was a perfect red thread online, "Blaze" by Week Dye Works. It arrived looking orange... So I decided to use the DMC 817 which is a very nice red, but stitched some of the stitches in Blaze orange. It came out really nice!
What do you guys think of the detail on his shirt? I decided to add a big contrast by using the orange "Blaze". I would love to hear some suggestions of other colors if you think the orange is too much! :)
Here is a close up of the hat with mostly red but a few orange stitches in there:
I also stitched the pipe in a cute mahogany:
So I will be stitching the stars next, and finish up with the waves. The stars will be in yellow!
Have a great Valentine week end!
Hugs,
Annie <3

New Start "Sea Captain" Printed Embroidery
Hi!
I have started a new project, because I honestly believe I have ADHD! It's a printed embroidery I found on Etsy.com, and I just thought it was so CUTE! The seller & designer had stitched it up all in blue, but I decided to stitch it with colors instead.
It is called "Sea Captain" from the shop Cozy Blue (click on the link to take you to the page at Etsy.com and so you can see it stitched all in blue by the designer!).
Here he is:
Here is what I have stitched so far. I am not very good at embroidery, but I am having so much fun stitching this, that I don't care! :D
I decided to give him a blue beard + hair! I will make his hat red! Here is a close-up:
He is so cute!

Finished Christmas Banner!
Last night, I finished the Christmas banner. I only had the backstitching to do. I will need to sew this up, but since I get lazy about doing that... Anyway, I have until next Christmas to do it! Here it is:
I find the penguins' eyes look weird...

New Start Xmas Banner & Scarlet Lips WIP Continued
Hi!
I have been working on a couple of projects lately. First, I have been continuing on my "Scarlet Lips" QS from HAED. I love working on this one! I wasn't able to finish a page, though. But I still got to do quite a bit:
Compared to the last wip:
And I started a new cross stitch 2 weeks ago. It's a Christmas banner from Dimensions. It's really cute! It will be ready for next Xmas:
I stitched the whole thing without the backstitching. I made an error on the top where it says :Welcome Friends. I stitched 3 extra rows (miscounted). I like it though. I also eliminated the orange squares; made them red instead:
Next I will be doing the backstitching!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Annie ^_^
